Rocky Bay welcomes new Board member

Rocky Bay is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Tricia Murray AM to its Board.

Experienced in leading social and community service organisations, Ms Murray brings with her a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the areas of social work, child and family services, and leading multi-faceted community organisations.

Ms Murray is the Chief Executive Officer for Wanslea and Wanslea Early Learning and Development, that specialise in the areas of early years, family based services and community capacity building. The role oversees service delivery across 30 sites in Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Tasmania.

With an extensive background as a Social Worker and Coordinator for organisations such as Red Cross, Presbyterian Social Services and Barnados NSW, Ms Murray was also Executive Manager for Anglicare WA for a decade before commencing her current Chief Executive role.

Rocky Bay Chair Ms Susan Male said the Board was delighted to appoint Ms Murray to the role.

“We are very excited to have Ms Murray join the Board and we welcome her extensive experience in child and family services, together with her leadership experience, will be of great value to Rocky Bay,” Ms Male said.

“Her fresh perspective and valuable experience in the social and family sectors will be important to the organisation’s success.”

A Master of Service Administration from Notre Dame University, Ms Murray is an Appointed Member of the Order of Australia, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, a Harvard Business School and an Australian Institute Company Directors graduate.
