Physical activity is important for every body, no matter what your ability. Movement and exercise has many benefits beyond promoting your physical strength and capability – it can be great for your mental health and well-being too.

Sessions can take place in a therapy gym using specialised equipment, or at a local gym, park, or recreation centre if that is more convenient for you. We can also research and liaise with suitable avenues and programs in the community to enable integration of your exercise routines into your daily life.

As well as providing direct support to people living with disability, the Fitness Officers can extend your training with your team of parents, carers and local personal trainers to ensure exercise routines can be maintained in the long term.

Hydrotherapy

Reach your fitness goals in Rocky Bay’s hydrotherapy pool, located at Mosman Park. It is a calm, controlled environment specially designed for rehabilitation, general therapy and leisure activities. The pool provides a low sensory environment to build on your strength and balance, under the careful support of our expert Fitness Officers.
