Welcome to Rocky Bay

Rocky Bay has announced the appointment of Brett King as its new Chief Operating Officer – Services, effective 15 September 2025.

Mr King brings a strong track record in healthcare leadership, operational transformation, and values-based management, having most recently served as Chief Operating Officer at Perth Radiological Clinic. In that role, he oversaw more than 850 staff across 22 clinics and led the delivery of patient-centred diagnostic imaging services.

He previously held senior national roles at Australian Red Cross Lifeblood, including National Director of Collection Operations, where he managed a workforce of over 1,700 clinical and frontline staff delivering blood and biological products nationwide.

Rocky Bay CEO Michael Tait said Mr King’s appointment signals a significant step forward in strengthening the organisation’s leadership capacity as it continues to grow its integrated and customer-focused disability services.

With a background in coaching and team development, Mr King also brings a unique leadership perspective. He is a Level 2 accredited AFL coach and currently serves as the Ruck Coach for the West Coast Eagles AFLW team.

In his new role, Mr King will oversee Rocky Bay’s clinical and community services, supporting teams across allied health, therapy, community access and lifestyle services.
