Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey through the realms of Dungeons & Dragons?

D & D gaming group is now available at the Rocky Bay Joondalup and Gosnells hubs, and we’re on the lookout for adventurous and independent people between the ages of 18 and 25 to join our board game quest, with the campaign kicking off in November.

With 3 sessions, each spanning 2 hours, prepare yourself for a thrilling journey through uncharted territories and magical encounters with wizards, knights, astrologers, witches and more.

Rocky Bay’s hub-based activities and small group programs are aimed at boosting your confidence in communicating, fostering greater independence, improving decision-making skills, enhancing creativity, and increasing your awareness of choices and control.

Session Times

Sessions running Tuesday 21 November, Tuesday 28 November, Tuesday 5 December at Joondalup and Gosnells from 4pm to 6pm.

The Dungeons & Dragons Group is a fun and engaging  play based program that aims to help you:

  • Improve your ability to collaborate and problem solve with others
  • Boost your confidence in communicating
  • Foster greater independence
  • Improving decision-making skills
  • Increase your awareness of choice and control
  • Improve social communication skills
  • Foster positive social interaction with peers
Program Structure

The Dungeons & Dragons Group consists of two teams of four, one team will be based at Joondalup and the other at Gosnells. Over three, two hour sessions you will commence the campaign. The story is set, the characters are drawn, all that is left for you to do is claim your spot and join the quest! You are welcome to bring your support worker with you if you would like and you don’t need to be an experienced Dungeons & Dragons player, the group is suitable for those who are new to the game.

Session 1

Your Dungeon Master will talk you through the game plan and set the ground rules. This will be followed by 1.5 hours of play time.

Session 2

You will begin with a quick 15 minute re-hash on your previous session and then continue with 1.75 hours of play time.

Session 3

You will jump straight into 1.5 hours of play time and finish with a 30 minute debrief with the other team to compare your campaigns and discuss how certain decisions may have impacted the course of the game.
