Opt-Out of Audit Participation

Rocky Bay will undergo a NDIS Audit from 24th to 26th June 2024.

The audit team is Assured Auditing, and there will be three auditors.

As a current or previous Rocky Bay customer, you may be selected by the auditors to participate in Rocky Bay’s audit.

What will the auditors do?

The auditors will choose customers that they would like to speak with. If you are chosen the auditors will:

  • Ask you questions about the services you receive from Rocky Bay
  • Look at your Rocky Bay customer file to check that the information about you is correct
  • Check your customer file to make sure that Rocky Bay provides you with services that are safe and to a good standard

Rocky Bay does not know who the auditors will want to speak with until closer to the audit dates.

Do I have to speak with the auditors?

No, you do not, it is your choice.

What do I do if I am happy to speak with the auditors?

If you are happy to speak with the auditors, you do not need to do anything. Rocky Bay will call you and let you know if you are chosen. You will also be asked if you want an independent person to be with you. This can be a family member, a guardian or an advocate.

What do I do if I do not want to speak with the auditors?

If you do not wish to speak with the auditors or allow them to look at your Rocky Bay customer file you must let Rocky Bay know. This is called 'opt-out'. Rocky Bay will record this information in your customer file and let the auditors know that you do NOT want to speak with them or allow them to look at your customer file.

To do this please complete the form below by 31 May

If you have any questions please contact Mircalla Kolinac, Manager Quality and Governance, on 9383 6178
