HLTAID011 Provide First Aid is an accredited training course for anyone looking to gain or refresh the skills and knowledge required to provide First Aid response. The course is the same as that given by St John.
Previously known as Senior First Aid, this one day accredited course is recommended for those who are looking to learn general first aid skills, or require a formal first aid certificate for work or study.
The one day Provide First Aid course would benefit all those at work, home or for leisure. The course provides an excellent general grounding in first aid and will enable you to perform appropriate first aid procedures and basic life support skills. This unit satisfies training requirements across a range of community and workplace settings.
Prior to attending the course, learners are sent a link to complete mandatory online pre-course learning and assessment. This must be completed prior to attending the practical session.
The practical session includes 1 day of demonstration, practise and skills assessment including the confirmation of knowledge gained in the pre-course online learning.
Please note, upon completion of this course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment and current industry standards state this course must be updated every 3 years. Rocky Bay delivers this course in partnership with LivCor RTO 3586.
