Social Work

Social Workers

Our Social Workers can work closely with you and your family members to provide intervention and support, depending on your needs.

If you or your child experience difficulties in relation to what is going on within your family at a particular time (for example financial, relationships, crises, grief and loss) it may be hard to feel like therapy can move forward. There may be difficulties in adjustment to a diagnosis or life transitions, as well as futures planning and therefore you may benefit from counselling and/or specialist support coordination.

Our focus and commitment is to empower you and your family to identify and build solutions in response to your specific needs.

All Rocky Bay Social Workers have a minimum BA or MA in Social Work and are eligible to be registered with AASW. The Social Workers at Rocky Bay have great experience working with both children and adults with disability. The reason a Social Worker may be involved with a person and/ or their family varies greatly with the primary aim to build capacity and improve circumstances.
