We know independence is important to you or your child and that being able to dress and undress without support could make everyday life much more convenient. If you or your child is having difficulty putting on clothes such as tops, shoes and socks or tying up shoelaces or using zips and buttons, then an Occupational Therapist will be able to help you.

An Occupational Therapist can provide you with the skills, strategies, resources and/or equipment to increase your ability to dress or undress independently.  The Occupational Therapist will assess a number of areas including visual perceptual skills, fine and gross motor skills and any physical limitations which may be interfering with your ability to get dressed or undressed.  If you need assistance with balance, coordination and strength, a Physiotherapist will also be able to help.
