Riding a bike or a tricycle is an important skill, particularly for children and young adults, as it can be enjoyed at home, school and in the community with peers, friends and family.
Our therapists can provide you or your child with support and intervention around bicycle or tricycle riding skills. The first step in the process is an assessment, as support may be required from a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist.
Therapists can assist in choosing appropriate modifications for bicycles or tricycles, where required, to allow those who need additional or specialised supports to enjoy the experience of cycling.
Intervention can be provided at our office sites, at your home, school or in the community. We also have Rocky Bay Riders group that runs twice a year to focus on bike riding skills.
10am – 12pm 26th – 28th September (Location TBA)
Pricing is determined by your funding stream and cost is advised once your child’s eligibility is confirmed.
