The Hangout – After School Program

After school programs should be fun, varied and social. Introducing The Hangout.

The Hangout, offers customers aged 10 to 17 a fun and engaging space to relax and have fun after school. The Hangout offers activities such as discos, arts and craft, cooking, and game nights, as well as homework support and quiet time after a busy day at school.

Last term, attendees loved collaborating and having the flexibility to choose their own activities for the afternoon so that everyone could enjoy their time. They learnt how to cook new meals, visited local parks, played video games, and more!

Our next program kicks off in Term 1! Please express your interest by emailing [email protected]. Let us know what days you are interested in coming, the activities you are keen to participate in, and any support needs you have. Be sure to include support ratio requirements, and if you require transport.

Wednesday: Rockingham 3:30pm – 6:30pm

Thursdays: Mandurah 3:30pm – 6:30pm

Cost: $5 per session

We are keen to incorporate the interests of those who attend into our activities, both out in the community and in our hubs, so let us know what you are keen to try!

Attendees will be supported at a 1:2 or 1:3 ratio (unless additional support is required). This new ratio costing means that your loved ones can access The Hangout at a lower cost, and so receive more hours of service over the term.
