That’s a wrap on another incredible Telethon weekend, with a record breaking $90,160,275 raised for West Australian children!
Rocky Bay was proud to participate both in the Telethon phone room taking calls and processing donations, and on the APM Charity Zone at the Telethon Family Festival, where hundreds of families and festivalgoers braved the wet weather to support Telethon.
We are proud to have partnered with Telethon to deliver our Early Start Intervention Program, which provides vital support to children under five years who do not have an NDIS plan. Our program has been instrumental in assisting young children and their families in achieving their developmental milestones.
Also thanks to generous funding from the Channel 7 Telethon Trust, an accessible merry-go-round was installed at Lady Lawley Cottage earlier this year, as part of Stage One works to enhance the facility’s accessibility.
A big thank you to all who visited us in the Charity Zone at this year’s festival, and thank you also to our staff members who volunteered their time on the day!
