At Rocky Bay, we are proud of our person-centred approach to service provision; and our approach to allocating fundraising and donation dollars is no different.
Funds raised are carefully matched to identified needs through projects such as The Wishing Tree and Skills Acquisition and Rehabilitation with every single dollar playing a vital role in our ability to enhance the quality of life for people living with disability.
Helping dreams come true
The Wishing Tree can make dreams come true. The range of wishes is long and diverse but wishes will only be granted for things where there is no other readily available funding source.
Wishes granted in the past have included garden games, modified cycling equipment, computers, communication equipment, a night out in a limo, shoes, clothes and make up for a gala ball and a public exhibition for an artist who paints with her mouth.
The Wishing Tree is 100% funded through fundraising and donations. It’s one way you can really lighten up someone’s life!

Skills Acquisition and Rehabilitation –
Discovering and Re-discovering abilities
If this is an average year, thousands of people in Western Australia will require rehabilitation following trauma, stroke, illness or injury – It could happen to anyone. Please support Rocky Bay to expand our ground breaking skills acquisition and rehabilitation program with a tax deductible donation, large or small.
Equipment and Technology –
Enabling access, communication and mobility
Fundraising and donations help to pay for many types of equipment which facilitate communication, play, learning and skills development, dexterity and mobility.
Through the sourcing of additional funds, we are able to purchase interactive communication screens, environmental controls, early intervention equipment for very young children and other equipment for use in school holiday programmes.
Switch toys enable those with very limited function and movement to control their environment and interact with others. Gym, physiotherapy and pool equipment mean we can do a better job of providing services for people receiving therapy or undertaking rehabilitation.
Every cent counts
With administration costs already covered, all funds raised go directly to projects which support people living with disability, so your contributions will really make a difference.
