How you can raise money for people with disability
In order to achieve our purpose of Discovering Abilities – optimising the quality of life for people living with disability, Rocky Bay relies on the support and generosity of the community.
Holding your own community fundraising activity or event is a fun and rewarding way to make a real difference to the lives of those living with disability.
All funds raised are carefully matched to identified needs through programmes such as Family Support and the Wishing Tree, with every dollar playing a vital role in our ability to enhance the quality of life for Rocky Bay clients.
Becoming a community fundraiser is easy and gives you the freedom to raise funds your way. Whether you want to host a movie night, fundraising party, or tackle something a bit more challenging like the HBF Run for a Reason or a long distance bike ride, the choice is yours.
Raise funds with a collection box
If you are a business owner, consider raising funds for Rocky Bay with a collection box on your counter. This is an easy and effective way to show your support for Rocky Bay and requires minimal effort on your part.
We can arrange to have a Rocky Bay branded collection box sent out to you. All you need to do is notify us when it is getting full. We are able to collect the funds in a way that suits you, either via pickup from local stores or a money transfer for those in regional areas.
All collection boxes are lockable and come with chains attached as an added security measure. If you would like to organise a Rocky Bay collection box for your counter, call 9383 5138 or email [email protected].
Create an event to remember!
Community Fundraising can be undertaken as an individual or in a team. Why not get a group of like-minded friends together to plan and implement a fun, social and rewarding fundraising activity?
Rocky Bay can support you throughout this process to ensure your community fundraising activity is a success!
You will need to notify Rocky Bay of your intention to fundraise before undertaking any fundraising activity. Please note that all community fundraising activities are subject to rules and regulations and must abide by state fundraising laws.
