Jumping for Joy – Breea’s story

Breea’s skydiving adventure

16 year old Breea had a dream come true in July 2013 after skydiving from 14,000 feet over York.  This may not sound like a big deal but for Breea it is – she has intellectual disability and epilepsy which prevented her from achieving her first wish of swimming with sharks – yes, she’s a brave girl!

Breaa receives occupational therapy from Rocky Bay and her therapist, Amanda, submitted her skydiving wish to Rocky Bay’s Wishing Tree.  Breea was brilliant – watch the video to see how they day went.

Breea’s message to everyone – “no matter what hurdles you face in life, by keeping a positive attitude you can discover your abilities and achieve your dreams!”

“Once you’ve done that, you can do anything!” she said, when back on solid ground.
