Neil, one of our supported accommodation customers, has been kicking goals lately and his latest achievement was a huge success!

With encouragement from his support team, Neil set himself the goal of cooking a special meal for a friend. He carefully planned a three-course menu featuring some of his guest’s favourite dishes, then got to work bringing his idea to life. The result was a beautiful dinner shared with fellow Rocky Bay customer Jasmine.

The story continues...

To make the night extra special, Neil transformed his dining room into a cosy restaurant, complete with fairy lights and table decorations. He even surprised Jasmine with a bunch of flowers before presenting her with the evening’s menu. The meal began with garlic bread, followed by creamy carbonara, and ended with a slice of cheesecake.

The evening wasn’t just about the food, it was about independence, confidence and connection. Over candlelight and conversation, Neil’s hard work paid off, and both Neil and Jasmine enjoyed a wonderful meal in each other’s company.

How we helped

At Rocky Bay, we love seeing our customers set their own goals and achieve them in ways that are meaningful to them. With the support of his team, Neil turned his goal into a night to remember and we couldn’t be happier for him!

If you know Neil, you’ll know his big grin and after the dinner, it was bigger than ever. He was especially proud of the pasta!
