What is State-Funded Disability Services?
State funding is provided by the Western Australia State Government for people living with disability. Rocky Bay is a contracted service provider for WA State Government’s Department of Communities, Disability Services.
Eligibility for State-Funded Disability Services
In order to receive funding for disability services under state-funding, you must meet eligibility requirements listed below:
- Be legally entitled to permanently live in Australia
- Permanently live in Western Australia
- Have a disability as defined by the Disability Services Act 1993 or a developmental delay (for children under the age of 8)
- Have physical, social, learning and/or communication needs arising from disability, which severely limits their ability to participate in the home, school, workplace and community
