About this course: Previously known as Senior First Aid, this one day accredited course will give you the skills and knowledge required to provide First Aid response. The course is recommended for those who are looking to learn general first aid skills, or require a formal first aid certificate for work or study.
The one day Provide First Aid course would benefit all those at work, home or for leisure. The course provides an excellent general grounding in first aid and will enable you to perform appropriate first aid procedures and basic life support skills. This unit satisfies training requirements across a range of community and workplace settings.
Prior to attending the course, learners are sent a link to complete mandatory online pre-course learning and assessment. This must be completed prior to attending the practical session.
The practical session includes 1 day of demonstration, practice and skills assessment including the confirmation of knowledge gained in the pre-course online learning.
On successful completion of all assessments learners will receive a nationally accredited Statement of Attainment.

• CPR and AED
• Shock Management
• Airway Management – Asthma, Choking, Severe Allergic Reaction, Hyperventilation
• Cardiac Emergencies
• Bleeding and Wound Care
• Burns and Scalds
• Extremes of Heat and Cold
• Musculoskeletal Injuries
• Altered Conscious States
• Poisons Bites and Stings
On successful completion of this course, students will be issued with a Statement of Attainment. Current industry standards state this course must be updated every 3 years.
