Our helpful customers Keith, Marissa, Kym and Jackie teamed up with Year 10 students from St Stephen’s School to help organise packages for local charity Vincent’s Project for the Homeless.
Vincent’s Project was chosen by St Stephen’s to receive a donation from WA Charity Direct to make the care packages a reality, and thanks to everyone’s help 250 of these care packages will be distributed to people in need.
Samantha Shaw from our Duncraig office said Vincent’s Project was a great bonding experience for our customers and the feedback received from all was very positive.
Rocky Bay has a great relationship with St Stephen’s, who last year selected Rocky Bay as the recipient of seven iPads and a camera with the help of Perth Wildcat, Damian Martin, and WA Charity Direct.
Our customers regularly meet up with the students in the community or at our base to enjoy arts, crafts, sports and baking activities. After selecting Rocky Bay as the lucky recipient of the donation from WA Charity Direct, our team hosted a BBQ to thank the students, who reciprocated with a morning tea for our customers.
A job well done to everyone who worked together for such a great cause!
