Meet the Rocky Bay team – Jess Dickinson

Jess Dickinson is one of Rocky Bay’s resident Senior Speech Pathologists. Speech pathologists diagnose and treat communication disorders, such as difficulties with speaking, listening, understanding language, reading and writing, social skills, stuttering, and even people who experience difficulties with swallowing food and drink safely.

Jess graduated from Curtin University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science – Speech Pathology, and worked as a speech pathologist for nearly five years in inpatient and outpatient care at hospitals in Perth and Singapore before joining Rocky Bay. Jess has also completed Rocky Bay’s Emerging Leaders Program and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

With such an impressive healthcare background, Jess’s strengths lie in the assessment of and intervention for acquired communication and swallowing disorders.
