Our latest Assistive Technology (AT) Mentoring group have been hard at work, studying for their nationally accredited Certificate IV with Assistive Technology Australia at Rocky Bay.
Andrew, Brooke, Emmanuel, Jason, Jenelle, Joey and Rachael have recently began their course with the assistance of an ILC Grant from the NDIS.
From now until June 2019, the group will be completing 17 units of a curriculum developed in partnership with Assistive Technology Australia NSW.
At the end of the course the group will become qualified AT Mentors and able to support and teach others living with a disability to research and talk through assistive technology solutions, and provide them with impartial information and guidance.
We wish our budding AT Mentors all the very best for their studies!
