Physiotherapy

Our physiotherapy team is here to support our customers on their journey towards greater independence, better health, greater mobility and improved posture and function. No matter what their age, ability or goals, we are committed to supporting them with personalised programs. Our range of physiotherapy services include, early childhood intervention, hydrotherapy in the community or their own pool, gym programs and a wide range of assessments.

Occupational therapy

Our occupational therapy services help customers develop the skills they need for daily living and to increase independence. Whether it is learning to manage daily tasks or improve fine motor skills, our occupational therapists work with customers to help them live their best lives. Along with supports for emotional regulation, assistive technology and functional capacity assessments.

Speech pathology

Our speech pathology services take a holistic and neurodiverse affirming approach to supporting our customers with their goals. Speech pathologists work alongside our customers to target their goals around communication (e.g. speech, language use and understanding, social interaction) and have the expertise to prescribe and support assistive technology solutions to support communication where required. Our speech pathologists also work collaboratively with the dietitians around fussy eating, as well as deliver mealtime management and dysphagia services.

In addition we also provide:

• Exercise physiology: Tailored exercise plans for better physical health and well-being.
• Continence clinics: Find holistic solutions to achieve continence goals.
• Children's continence clinics:  Finding holistic solutions to achieve continence goals for children and their families.
• Intensive Go-For-Goals therapy programs: Providing individualised support over a four week period, working towards a specific goal.
• Dietetics: Working as part of the therapy team to help meet nutrition goals and assist with fussy eating and mealtime strategies, advice with texture modified diets for those experiencing difficulties with chewing or swallowing, managing bowel issues including constipation, diarrhoea and stoma management, non-oral (tube) feeding and weaning in those over 2 years of age to ensure nutritional requirements are met and weight management including unintended loss or gain.
• Assistive Technology: Physical and digital soloutions to support you in living your life your way.
• Postural Support: A comprehensive range of postural care services uncluding full postural assessments, identification of suitable postural supports, development of postural management strategies, assistance with NDIS Assistive Technology application process.
• Daily Living: Support with activities that are aligned with personal interests and focused on building independence.

Join us at our monthly discos, enjoy the art and craft zone or take a trip with a Rocky Bay support worker in one of our fleet vehicles.  We'll organise community activities so that you can engage with your community, your way.
