Sensory processing refers to all the information we receive through our senses from the world around us.
Our senses help us to understand our bodies, actions and the environment we live in. It is important to understand how we process sensory information and how this can affect our responses.
We all require sensory input to participate in everyday activities.
This 3 hour workshop will:
- Provide school staff with guidelines that can be incorporated into classrooms to support students with sensory processing challenges
- Support you to understand the importance of working as a team with each child and their networks to achieve successful outcomes with sensory processing across different everyday environments
