Whatever your disability, we can provide the support you need to live life to the fullest.
We provide therapy and professional services to people of all ages living with a physical, developmental, sensory or intellectual disability in Western Australia.
Anyone eligible under the Disability Services Commission criteria can receive services, including but not limited to, those with neuromuscular and neurological, acquired brain injury, autism and intellectual disabilities.
Those who do not meet Disability Services Commission criteria or receive appropriate funding may still be able to pay a fee for service.
Is your child eligible for Better Start funding?
If your child is diagnosed with any of the following, you may be eligible for funding for early intervention from The Better Start for Children with Disability initiative:
- Cerebral palsy
- Deaf blindness
- Down syndrome, including mosaic Down syndrome
- Fragile X syndrome with full mutation.
- Hearing impairment
- Sight impairment
- Prader-Willi syndrome
- Williams syndrome
- Angelman syndrome
- Kabuki syndrome
- Smith-Magenis syndrome
- CHARGE syndrome
- Cornelia de Lange syndrome
- Cri du Chat syndrome; or
- Rett Syndrome

State Wide Consultative Service for Neuromuscular Conditions
If you live with a neuromuscular condition, Rocky Bay provides a state-wide consultative service for you, your family or service provider.
We can provide consultation, information and support to you via email, telephone or face to face. We provide support that is relevant to your identified needs and goals to enable you to make informed choices.
Face to face consultation appointments can be negotiated (onsite at Rocky Bay or within the Perth Metropolitan area).

We can service your equipment outside of your scheduled maintenance service.
Please contact the Rocky Bay Therapy Assistant Service on 6499 1400 for day to day equipment repairs. Our therapy assistants are available during business hours across all sites.
Why we’re different
The team in Therapy and Professional Services offer a range of specialities that can adapt to your needs. In many cases our services can be delivered where you are most comfortable, this can be at your home, your school, your workplace, a recreation centre or park.
You can also use our facilities at both Mosman Park and Cockburn Central including a hydrotherapy pool (Mosman Park), consultation rooms and therapy equipment.

You can access our services if you have a WA NDIS or NDIS plan, Disability Services Commission funding, Better Start funding, Medicare or if you want to fund your own services. We can also support you through the planning process if you do not have a plan already.
