IONA PRIMARY SCHOOL'S EASTER GIFT
Thanks to Iona Primary School, Rocky Bay's residence
will enjoy a wonderful easter with heaps of chocolate bunnies!
Iona's joined our residents last September in Walk with Me when
they walked along Rocky Bay river side to raise funds and much needed
awareness.
It is only with the support of people like Iona that we can achieve
our purpose: to optimise the quality of life for people living with
disabilities.
"Way to go, Iona!"

Good News Re: Auskick
Chloe Banks a Rocky Bay School Aged Therapy Service (SATS) client was featured in the West Australian on 15th October.
One of her mother's goal was that Chloe be able to kick a ball with her brother. Physiotherapist Ann had heard about the AFL's Auskick for special needs and suggested they investigate.
For children with Autism, the benefits of participating in a team sport are enormous. However this means overcoming many fears and behavioural patterns, to learn to work as part of a team.

Chloe was accepted into the program and was the only girl involved. Her mother is 'over the moon' and Chloe loves her new past time. Auskick even provided her with a pink ball - Well done Chloe.
