Rocky Bay Celebrates
Rocky Bay reopened the Lucy Creeth Residence last week with a housewarming party at McCabe Street, Mosman Park.
The celebration was attended by the Minister for Disability Services, the Honourable Simon O’Brien MLC, and his wife, Joy, His Worship Ron Norris, Mayor of Mosman Park, Dr Ron Chalmers, Director General Disability Services Commission, representatives of the Commission, residents, families, and staff.
The guests toured the premises that have been decorated and furnished to the residents’ personal preferences. The rooms are now more spacious and have en-suite bathrooms, contemporary living areas and easy access to lovely gardens.
The refurbishments were funded by Disability Services Commission along with funds raised by the Diamonds and Pearls Ball, and the Royal Fremantle Golf Club.
