Rocky Bay provides the following range of services to families, to support them in their caring role by having a break. We may be able to offer you support within or outside your family home.

Rocky Bay Southern Respite Service

For adults living in the southern metropolitan area and Peel
Located just off the Kwinana Freeway in Beeliar
A friendly, relaxed, home-like environment for guests
Staffed by support workers 24 hours per day, 7 days per week
Services include all aspects of daily support requirements and some recreational opportunities.
Guests can book in for varying periods of time depending on the availability of beds and compatibility with other guests.

Weekend BreakAways

Fun filled weekends away from home, in Perth or within a few hours drive
From Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon
For small groups of adults of a similar age and similar interests
Recreational and social activities are decided by the participants

The Residence

Located in Mosman Park
For people with higher clinical support needs which limit the person’s access to other respite options
Respite at Rocky Bay
Short term stays
Staffed by support workers 24 hours per day, 7 days per week
Clinical support offered by Registered Nursing staff

Respite Thru Recreation

A wide range of daytime and evening recreation and leisure options providing new and fun experiences for participants

Intensive Family Support

Respite services for people who have a Disability Services Commission Intensive Family Support Grant
Services tailored to meet your needs
You can participate in making decisions about your service

Respite Brokerage and Shared Management

Pays an agency or a person that you trust to offer respite support to give you “time out”
To support you manage your own respite grant

Respite Costs

The cost of respite is mostly subsidised
There is a small service charge for the above options
The service charge varies between each program
