Shared Management Service
Community Living Services offer a Shared Management Model for individuals and families who wish to manage their own grants or funding. This is a flexible service that is structured to meet the individual's or families choice in the way their grant is managed.
An assessment in consultation with the client and/or family is conducted to determine if they want Rocky Bay to take full and/or only part responsibility for in the selection and management of support staff; for example: the individual or family will need to decide whether they want to be responsible for the following:
- deciding who will be the employer;
- recruitment, selection and training of support staff;
- paying support staff,
- monitor how things are going;
- record keeping of hours spent.
