Training and Professional Development
Rocky Bay is a Registered Training Organisation providing training in the Community Services Industry in the Disability Sector since 1991.
Rocky Bay currently provides:
- Certificate III and IV in Disability Work
- Specialist Training – Disabilities
- Ongoing training and professional development for Rocky Bay staff
The Certificate III and IV in Disability Work is a Nationally Registered Training Package course.
This course caters for participants who may already be working in the disability industry as carers or support workers, and also for participants who wish to start a career in the industry.
The Certificate III Disability Work course fulfils the training need for both the practical support skills development and the essential values based training required as a competent support worker and care giver for children and adults with disabilities.
The Certificate IV in Disability Work covers the skills and knowledge to undertake higher duties such as in coordination or supervision of staff, programs or services.
