Model of the Future is a competition held for young aspiring models, boys and girls; aged 5 – 21 years. Model of the Future is a fundraising event for Rocky Bay that has been conducted for the past 16 years. Many of our winners have become very successful in their modelling careers both locally and overseas. All funds raised go to help optimise the quality of life for West Australians living with disabilities.
2010 Competition Update:
This year’s Model of the Future heats concluded on the 16th May with our final heat held in Bunbury.
All successful heat entrants were required to raise $105 to qualify for the Semi Final.
The Semi Final was held on July 1st at Centro Galleria, and all who participated did exceptionally well. It was obvious to the judging panel that this year’s models were going to make decisions difficult for them, with the standard displayed being outstanding.
All Grand Finalists were notified by mail of their success. Grand Finalists will be taking to the stage to show case their skills at the Perth Town Hall on Saturday July 31st. The Grand Final gala event will see the presentation to winners and the announcement of the 2010 Highest Fundraiser.
