‘Tech Talkers’ Orientation

For parents and carers of people using communication devices

‘Tech Talkers’ is a Rocky Bay program designed for parents and carers of children and adults using communication devices. You will learn how to help the person you are supporting to reach their full communication potential.

This will include:
• supporting them to feel confident when using the communication device;
• learning to use strategies that research shows help people use communication devices;
• identifying specific communication goals and knowing how to work towards achieving them;
• meeting other people who support someone with a communication device.

Full Program

Program sessions commence on Friday 28th April 2016 and will be run by two qualified Speech Pathologists.
Please note that this program is for parents and carers; device users do not attend.
